About the Position

As the Program Coordinator, your main responsibility is to coordinate the JesusWalk Youth Ministry programs which include: the online community, small groups, events, and workshops throughout the year (2024-2025).

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Establish fundraising goal(s) for the upcoming JesusWalk fiscal year

Develop a comprehensive fundraising plan that will support the financial needs of the ministry

Create fundraising timeline for the year that includes deadlines, events, and overall plans to meet fundraising goals

Build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors who will support JesusWalk

Organize and execute fundraising events

Lead and organize staff in the implementation process of fundraising events

Qualifications

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Interest or experience in event planning

General understanding of relationship building

Able to work in a team environment

Eligibility Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age

Be a believer of Christ

Be an active member of the Christian Church

Commitment Level

Commit to the position from September 2024 to August 2025

Fulfill all roles and responsibilities

Successfully complete a background check

Attend all monthly and bi-monthly All-Hands Meetings

Attend department meetings and staff development activities

Participate in the Staff Retreat

Participate in the entire JesusWalk Youth Retreat

Assist Department Director with content creation and execution

Create program timeline for the year that includes deadlines, work days, and overall plans to meet program goals

Research and gather information about youth of the current generation

Brainstorm potential new activities to add within the JesusWalk Youth Ministry

Collaborate with Partnerships Department to identify intentional partners who can contribute to JesusWalk’s upcoming events

Communicate programmatic details with partners who have committed to serving with the JesusWalk Youth Ministry

Practice keeping a prayerful heart as a lifestyle for program development

Collaborate in enhancing the JesusWalk Youth Ministry programs to align with the mission, vision, and purpose

Qualifications
